Emilia arrived at 3 in the morning after serveral hours of labor. Unlike her sister Emilia gave colleen a proper warning. This time it was nearing 7 in the evening when we decided that we should head to the hospital. Chad was able to stop by and pick up Ali to watch while Colleen and I went to the hospital to see what was going on. Since it was May 28 and Emi wasn’t due until June 24 we weren’t entirely sure that “this was it.” Once in the hospital Colleen was monitored for a while in order to determine if she was actually going to deliver. By 11 they decided that “this was it” and her doctor was called in. By midnight Dr. Arbona was there sitting with Colleen, telling some stories, and waiting for Emi’s arrival. This time there was actually time for Colleen to take some painkillers to help her through the delivery but she turned them down. Like the first time, this time was also going to be all nartural. At 2:57 on Saturday, May 29th, Colleen delivered Emi, three weeks and 5 days early.
We already have a few pictures (hard to believe I am sure) from soon after delivery andsome that were posed for her newborn pictures. We also have quite a bit of video as well. I will need to change a few things up a little bit to add in pages specific for Emi but I plan to have more pictures and videos up soon. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts, and help. Thanks again and I will update once we get more pictures and videos posted.
