Halloween 2009

We started off Halloween this year with a camping trip to Maumee Bay State Park. We had lots of camping fun even if the weather was a little colder than normal. While we were at the campground Ali was able to march in the Halloween parade and walk from campsite to campsite dressed as a kitten begging for candy. She caught on pretty quick and really seemed to enjoy the entire experience. The idea of people giving her something to put into her bucket was a hit. She was even able to have a sucker after it was all over. A couple weeks later on the Thursday before Halloween we went to Chad and Erin’s house in Hilliard to trick or treat in their neighborhood. Even though her parents forgot to bring her Halloween bucket Ali quickly remembered what to do and was walking up driveways in no time asking for candy to put into her bag. She walked quite a bit and again seemed to really enjoy the whole experience. Lastly on Halloween Ali was able to trick or treat with Grandma and Grandpa Osborne in Oak Harbor. It was only a few days after her Hilliard experience so she was on the ball. She travelled quite a bit and was able to hit up quite a few houses again. I think one of her favorite parts was when she was actually able to pick out a piece of candy from the people handing out the candy. Lookout if you had two buckets that you were using to hand out candy and allowed the kids to pick out what they wanted. Ali took that to mean she could pick out a piece from each bucket. Anyways, Ali had a great Halloween and enjoyed it all. I am sure she will have even more fun next year. Below are some pictures from her different Halloween experiences.

  1. She is darling as always. I’m amazed she caught on to the whole Halloween thing at her age but I know she is a very bright little girl. Love all the pictures.
