I had to hit 'last' about 4 times a minute maybe even five. Like I said at that point I don't think it was because it was CSI especially the NY flavor, I think at this point that was how desperate I was for some TV. Eventually it wasn't too bad, at first very annoying but I started to get used to it. As far as SD and HD go, HD is a second or two behind SD so that was why I started hitting 'last' twice in a row as well. It was fine going from SD to HD, I would get a second of repeat show, but going from HD to SD I would miss a couple seconds since the SD channel is slightly ahead. Anyways I would take a few minutes break during commercials so it wasn't the entire 60 minutes, plus ten minutes before the end my signal started working again.

That is just crazy. I would prefer to not watch the show at that point.

That is what I think many normal people would have done and that brings me to my questioning if my actions were sad.

Man...that is kinda lame. I hope you are exaggerating about the 'every 15 seconds'. That is just crazy. I would prefer to not watch the show at that point. Maybe if it was 30 seconds plus...but every 15 is not worth it for CSI...especially since it runs for a freaking hour. Maybe The Office or something.

I will give you some props for figuring it out though, Prof would've just went to bed. I may have been able to figure it out, but I certainly would not have been able to hit the 'last' channel button that often.

Was the SD and HD feeds a few seconds behind from each other?, or were they running at the same time. I am assuming they are running in sync with each other, not that this question changes anything, just curious is all.

My vote is that this is sad and awesome that it started working fine...after your ridiculous workaround
