it seems like a lucky and mysterious spot to get stitches...When she is older, that will be an interesting eyebrown. Lucky becaues if all else fails, use a brow pencil. But my condolences for the boo-boo.

I suppose I could, I just figured that it added to the drama of the pictures. Or something like that.

(actually didn't notice till I looked at them on the computer, but didn't feel like taking new ones or cleaning her up with photoshop, too lazy)

Oh I remember that. I just figured since you guys didn't want to be questioned again by child services and decided to give me butterfly bandages and a big scar it didn't count since there were no stitches involved.
I remember taking Jason out from behind causing him to smash his head into the school door. I also remember when we were playing in the sun room on Oak Street and he fell and hit his head on a toy gun, again resulting in stitches. Like I said, I can remember when I wasn't the one getting stitches but I have a hard time remembering the details around the events where I did need stitches. I only remember one time and only being velcroed down to the table and trying to break out of the velcro. That is about all I can remember.

Poor Ali.....Poor mom and dad...I think it is worse for mom and dad (and grandmas) than it is for the child!
Josh, you forgot about the time you had your stitches on the top of your head removed and we went to the basketball game at the high school that night. We thought you and Chad Swartz would be safe in the "padded" wrestling room.....WRONG! Your chin and the top of Chad's head collided....We did not want to head back to the hospital so..... luckily the ems guys had a few butterfly bandages and we were able to use them.Of course they tend to leave a scar. Or which one of you guys tried to "bargain" with the doctors to just use "butterflies" instead of stitches? Or maybe the time YOU shoved your brother into the door at the high school and split open his head?
And by the way they had not started to stitch up Jason yet when I fainted...I was still trying to keep pressure on the wound.....ha i guess i did not do that as long as I should have....hhhmmmm Give Ali a BIG hug from me! later....

I have tons of stories to tell…but will stick with just one. We were camping over at Pokagon on top of the hill. Jason was riding his bike,(can’t remember how old he was) and fell off of the bike, cutting his forehead open. Thank God, Pat Heider was there with his car, so that we didn’t have to pack up the motorhome to take Jason to the hospital in Angola. On the way there, there were sosme detours, due to road construction, but we got there, and Pat sat outside in his car (smart thinking).Jim and I went in, sat down, and soon a man that we thought must be the janitor started moving chairs around…talking to us while doing so. Soon he said ok, come in now, and guss what HE was the doctor. This is where the fun begins. Dr. says looks like about 6 stitches—-Jason says no KUE (his way of saying 2). Dr. says 5 and Jason says 3…and so they settled on about 4 I think. All the while the Dr. is laughing. Anyways..how would anyone like to have to make the call to Cindy and Tom to tell them you had to take Jason to the hospital. Made me sick to my stomach to do so. But they took it in their stride, and YES they left him with us again after that. Needless to say our supper at the campground was late that night.

Poor pookie. At least it's in her eyebrow so you won't see the scar! I'll give her a kiss when I get home from work tonight.
