So I have finally decided on what application I want to use to build my site.  I have decided on WordPress after running another Content Management System (CMS) software in parallel for a few days.  The other one (CMS Made Simple) was very nice, pretty easy to use and very easy to install.  However to do much in the way of rearranging the site I would have needed to do some coding and that takes time and knowledge, neither of which I have.  WordPress is heavily supported by the OpenSource community and has many themes that I can use to dress-up my site.  I have quickly picked out this current one that you are looking at for now.  But I am sure in the fute that I will change it since it is so easy to do.  Anyways, my first goal is to get everything working and test it out.  So you may see content go up and down for a while until I figure it all out.  Also I want to make sure I get a lot of my pics uploaded and displayed as that is my main purpose.  I am not a fan of writing so I doubt that I will make a lot of entries.  Although, I do encourage any one of you to post away.  If you need an account just send me an email and I will get you set up with an account.  I didn’t want to let just anyone post as you are just inviting spammers to post that way.  Let me know what you think.
